The price of sewing labour is determined by how complicated the garment is and the fabric required, for example if the materials are (friable, slippery, velvet, knitted fabric, jersey or fur) or coloured (shining, white, checked or striped) these all affect the overall price.

Extra service: I offer a service for selecting fabric(s), which involves one shopping trip (that lasts to 2 hours). This service costs £50.

Prepayment of 60% is required from the quoted price and 40% on collection.

All labour work is to be agreed and paid before order is processed.

Process

Take down the measurements and determine the style of model.

Buy a fabric

Fitting, specifying the fabric requirements, for example (length, button arrangement, pocket arrangement etc.)

Second fitting if required for a particular figure or style.

Finished garment.

*Fitting is the most important part of Tailoring, where all the details need to be precise. Therefore, if after I have completed your garment, you want me to make any additional changes or modifications this service will be charged as extra.*
